The 4th Scarborough AC 10
Mile Road Race and "Carewatch" Fun Run.

Scarborough AC would like to announce
the 4th running of the Scarborough 10M Road Race.
Competing for the Jimmy Corrigan Memorial Trophy.
The race will take place from the scenic village of Wykeham and through the nearby National Park forest.
A list of entrants will be published here in due course.
The route is run on quiet tarmac roads and is officially measured with accurate mile
markers.
Closing Date for postal entries: 10th October.
Entry Fees: Club Runners £6.
Unattached: £8. On the Day + £1.
On the Day entries are not eligible for prizes.
The Race HQ is at St Helen's Caravan Park -
Wykeham, where the facilities make it an excellent venue,
with showers, refreshments and ample parking available.
The race is suitable for all athletes,
whether serious professionals or relative beginners.
All standards of runner are welcome with back-up vehicles present throughout the
race.
'Carewatch' Fun run. 10am Start.
The fun run will take place from the
same venue and will be approximately 2 miles.
The course is suitable for children of all ages capable of completing two miles.
Small children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Entry Fees: £2.50 (Entries on the day accepted - No extra charge)
All Fun run finishers will receive a memento and goody bag.
