Additional  information:
First assessment: Includes an initial consultation, physical assessment of the injury (allowing baseline measures to be taken to show improvements), treatment plan and tailored rehabilitation programme.
Follow up sessions: These sessions will be for further treatment and rehabilitation progression.
Pre competition massage: Helps prevent injury and prepares the body and mind for the stresses and exertions of the forthcoming event. A pre race massage will warm muscle tissue, lubricate joints, increase blood flow, increase oxygen intake.
Post competition massage: Helps return the body and mind to an enjoyable relaxed state. A post race
massage will relax muscle tissue, relax muscle fibers, and remove toxins and lactic acid from muscles. It helps prevent overuse injury and following day aches.

Note: Athletes should attend sessions wearing clean clothing and shorts, females should also wear a sports bra.
If it is appropriate to the injury you may be asked to undress to your underwear to allow for a complete assessment and for treatment purposes. Proper towelling techniques will be used for modesty purposes.
