The Yorkshire Three Peaks Fell Race
Six Club members competed in the annual Yorkshire Three Peaks Fell Race.
The Race is a long-distance fell running race starting and finishing in the village of Horton-in Ribblesdale with a course covering 24.2 miles with around 5,200 ft of ascent. In addition to the gruelling course of steep climbs, fast descents and a mix of terrain, and close to the marathon distance, a sudden arrival of searing hot temperatures mitigated against course record times.
